The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Polish Institute of  Arts & Sciences of America, (PIASA) will be held on June 4-5, 2004 at Northeastern University, Boston, MA in the heart of the city, within walking distance of  the Museum of Fine Arts , Symphony Hall, popular shopping districts, etc. Proposal for individual papers with short abstracts will be considered, but preference will be give to proposals for complete two hour sessions involving presentation of three 25 minute papers with a chair and a discussant.  A short abstract should accompany each proposal.    Proposals for panel and roundtable discussions should be submitted  only on topics that lend themselves to that format.  Initial screening of all proposals will be made as soon as they are received and forwarded to appropriate members of  the program committee.  Deadline for receipt of all proposals : March 1, 2004.  Proposals should be sent to Dr. Thaddeus V.
